Basic Info BioI have a degree in environmental engineering which I'm putting to good use as an English teacher in Guatemala. I teach Language and Science in English to primary school students as well as English Language to the Magisterio class. I also teach private swimming lessons in stroke development.
I run obsessively. Every morning I get up early so that I can go running before work, sometimes I go twice a day if I have an obscene amount of energy. I also go hiking on the mountain a few times every week after classes because Morales is almost as flat as Saskatchewan. I run half-marathons and I'm terrified of not beating my previous time.
My personal best for a half is 1:45 (in case you don't know, a half is 21k) and for a 10k it's 43min. I have never run a 5k, but I think that I would like to, just to see.
I'm bilingual. I learned Spanish down here in Morales by speaking to people on the street and watching tv programs in Spanish. I'm insanely jealous of people who are trilingual and would love to learn German and relearn French.
